Key Achievements

 

Brian Mac Namee is the CeADAR principal investigator for theme one – Intelligent Analytic Interfaces. Brian is a lecturer in the School of Computing at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), and a founding member of the Applied Intelligence Research Centre (AIRC), a designated DIT research centre. He has 8 years experience working in applications of data analytics techniques to real-world problems, with a particular emphasis on text analytics and novelty detection.

Brian has written 1 book chapter, 9 journal articles, and 30+ peer reviewed conference publications and has a H-index of 10 and 350 citations on Google Scholar.

Brian will collaborate on theme one with the following DIT faculty members:  Dr. Sarah Jane Delany, Dr. John Kelleher, Dr. Robert Ross, and Barry Sheehan.
