Prayer meeting

N.B. This will be the last Y2K meeting of this semester, to be resumed on 23 January 2013.
Venue: St. Stephen's chaplaincy
Time: 7.30pm-8.30pm. Light refreshments to follow.
Every Wednesday at the same time and same place throughout the semester, students gather for an hour of prayer and adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.
All welcome. Please invite your friends.
Word of Life

Fridays, 1-1.30pm, Newman Building, room G005.
Each Friday during the semester a meeting takes place of the Word of Life group. A sentence of the gospel is chosen each month and students try to apply it to their own lives. During the weekly meetings a commentary is reflected upon and some experiences are shared. The meeting is open to all students. It takes place in room G005 in the Newman building (that's on the chaplains/student advisers' corridor). The meeting lasts for 30 mins approx. and begins at 1 p.m. (sharp).
All welcome!
Student Mass
Every Saturday in semester, there is a STUDENT MASS at 6pm in St. Stephen's chaplaincy (located between the Engineering building and the 39A bus hub).
The Mass is a simple, intimate liturgy. It takes place in the beautiful contemplation room at St. Stephen's, which was inspired by the monastic foundation of Sceiig Mhíchíl (Skellig).
All are welcome. And all musical talent is also welcome...and encouraged!
Prayers for All

Be for us our companion on the walk,
Our guide at the crossroads,
Our breath in our weariness,
Our protection in danger,
Our shade in the heat,
Our light in the darkness,
Our consolation in our discouragements,
And our strength in our intentions.
So that, with your guidance, we may arrive safe and sound at the end of the Road and enriched with grace and virtue, we may return safely to our homes filled with joy.
(This prayer is an edited version of the pilgrim's prayer said at the end of the Eucharistic celebration in Santiago de Compostela, Spain).
