One Health Week
In April the One Health Society will run their Annual One Health week, bringing together members of the One Health Society, faculty and students.
This year’s event has been timed to co-incide with World Health Day on April 7th and aims to make students understand what one health really is and how it involves us all. The event will bring together professors, physicians, veterinarians and scientists from all over campus, to talk about relevant one health topics- such as antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases, and metabolic diseases.
The week will kick off with a debate on the global health problem of Antimicrobial resistance, with Dean of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Grace Mulcahy.
