About the Irish Institute for Chinese Studies
The Irish Institute for Chinese Studies (IICS), formerly known as UCD Centre for Chinese Studies (established in January 2006), was officially launched on 26th September 2006.
The IICS contributes to the University's strategic objectives by promoting its international profile in the areas of student recruitment and research. It will also co-ordinate and develop a range of courses and degree programmes designed to offer a better knowledge and understanding of China.
Our Learning Environment
Our teaching facilities have been built with student engagement in mind. Our small theatre style classrooms facilitate student lecturer interactions. Our study areas and breakout rooms promote teamwork and group learning. All of which are critical for a career in business.
