Irish Institute of Hellenic Studies in Athens (IIHSA)
The Irish Institute of Hellenic Studies in Athens (IIHSA) was founded in 1996 to facilitate Irish-based students and scholars who carry out research and archaeological fieldwork in Greece. It is run from Ireland and operates from its premises in Athens, which include a hostel for members.Among its other activities, the IIHSA organises yearly study tours of Greece for students of Irish Universities. It also issues passes to members for free entrance to museums and archaeological sites.
