UCD School of Art History & Cultural Policy
Art History covers all of the different aspects of visual culture: painting, sculpture, architecture, the decorative arts and modern visual art forms, including photography, film, video and performance. The School is the largest academic department for the study of art history in Ireland. Offering over thirty modules to undergraduates, the School provides taught masters programmes in Art History as well as Cultural Policy and Arts Management. The latter provides professional training for leaders in cultural organisations and has an international reputation for the quality and rigour of its instruction.
Expert supervision is offered in a range of areas from the world of classical antiquity to contemporary European and American architecture, as well as all aspects of Irish art and architecture.
