UCD School of Medicine
As an internationally recognised provider of healthcare education and one of Ireland’s leading medical educators, the school teaches, researches and provides healthcare in Ireland and across the world. In excess of 60 undergraduate, graduate, research and professional programmes are delivered by specialist staff across an extensive network of academic and clinical locations.
Through initiatives such as Ireland's first academic health centre, Dublin Academic Medical Centre (DAMC), with the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and St Vincent’s Healthcare Group, staff deliver and work continually to improve primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare in Ireland. The School has a large and dynamic research portfolio extending from in silico bioinformatics and molecular laboratory investigations of disease, to clinical research evaluating new therapeutic strategies.
