UCD School of Economics
Economics explores how ordinary people, e.g. consumers, business people, public servants and politicians, make decisions, and how they choose between alternative ways of spending their money and using their skills, energy and time in a wide range of human endeavour. The School is Ireland’s leading School of Economics, according to RePEc research rankings. It has long-standing traditions of excellence in areas such as applied microeconomics, international trade and macroeconomics.
The School is closely connected with UCD Geary Institute for Public Policy, one of Europe’s leading social sciences institutes.
