The Commercial Office manages and co-ordinates the activities of: Student residences / Catering / Licensees / O'Reilly Hall / Conferences / Room hire and summer accommodation.

Conference and Events Office
The Conference Office manages the O' Reilly Hall, a major venue for conferences and events and also co-ordinates all non-Academic & Student room hire activities. The Conference Office co-ordinates all logistical aspects of on-campus conferences as well as providing an advisory service to academics organising conferences.

Student Accommodation
With over 2300 rooms available to let UCD has the largest number of rooms of any University and boasts some of the finest accommodation available.
Over 200 of the best student rooms are reserved for conference delegates wishing to take low cost accommodation through the summer. These can be booked through the UCD Conference & Events Office on 716 2827
The main body of the Student Accommodation is licensed out to USIT for summer letting and these rooms are taken by groups ranging from conferences and language schools to summer visitors to Ireland

Licensees
The Commercial Office manages over 30 licenses on Belfield Campus. A cross section includes a post office, various catering contractors and a book shop, amongst others.

Catering
The Main Campus restaurant, located over two floors, has been recently refurbished, serves over 1 million customers per year and has a seating capacity of over 1300 covers.
Catering from buffets to formal dinners can be undertaken in these locations and menus can be created to suit all needs.Back to Top
Other Activities
The Commercial Office is the proud sponsor of the UCD Sinfonia, the Choral Scholars and the Drama Society.
