Credit requirements - Prior to each seminar, you are required to read and be prepared to discuss recent reviews on the areas covered in the seminar - You will be assessed weekly on the basis of brief structured discussion papers relating to each seminar session. What does it cover? - Focuses on the interaction between the immune and nervous systems at molecular, cellular and systems levels. - Provides an overview of current and developing concepts in neuroimmunology from both neuroscience and immunology perspectives. - Aims to familiarise students with the: • Molecular and cellular elements of interconnectivity between the immune and nervous systems • Effect of neuro-immuno interaction on physiological responses and disease processes
