A key part of the mission of UCD Conway Institute is to enhance the quality and scope of the undergraduate experience through the UCD Schools associated with the Institute. Undergraduate students benefit from the active research experience of lecturers who are also Conway Fellows. They have access to Conway core technologies through their supervisors. Graduate students who are embedded in the research environment from a very early stage will be well equipped for careers in the expanding knowledge-based bioindustry and healthcare sectors.

The teaching facility for undergraduate students in UCD School of Biomolecular & Biomedical Science is incorporated into the Conway building. This facility, including state-of-the-art teaching laboratories and lecture facilities, forms an integral part of UCD Conway Institute and provides a premier educational environment for the undergraduate students in life sciences. The majority of undergraduate students in UCD School of Biomolecular & Biomedical Science will do their 4th year research projects with Conway investigators.
