Latest edition of Conway Focus available

The latest issue of Conway Focus highlights the launch of Systems Biology Ireland, the 10th Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Science, Engineering & Technology (CSET) led by Professor Walter Kolch together with Professors Boris Kholodenko, Cormac Taylor & Des Higgins.

It also features the prizewinners at the recent 9th annual UCD Conway Festival of Research & Innovation as well as recent publication successes from the research teams led by Professors Therese Kinsella & Philip Newsholme and Dr Albert Smolenski. On the technology front, installation and training is now complete on the newest addition to the technology platforms in the Institute - the protein expression factory, acquired through a successful grant application by Professor Dolores Cahill and Professor Ken Dawson.
