At UCD Conway Institute, research activities are aligned over three cross-cutting themes to provide a focal point for interdisciplinary research into health and wellbeing, as well as biomedically-focused information communication technology (ICT).

UCD Conway Institute is home to biomedical researchers, chemists, physicists, engineers, computation scientists and clinicians from St Vincent's University Hospital, the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and the National Children's Research Centre. This interdisciplinarity fosters the ability of our researchers to see beyond the normal constraints of their own fields. Together, they are creating fundamental novel concepts that are driving new knowledge.

The UCD Conway core technologies programme is the most comprehensive and advanced analysis platform for the life sciences and biomedical research in Ireland. We aim to provide technology solutions to 21st century research questions.
