Biography:
| I hold a joint appointment across the School of Veterinary Medicine, School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science, and School of Medicine and Medical Science. 1999-2007: TB Research Group, VLA Weybridge, UK. |
Research Interests
| The Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex encompasses the aetiological agents of tuberculosis in man and a range of domesticated and wild animals. My current focus is on the exploitation of the genome sequence of human pathogen, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and the bovine pathogen, Mycobacterium bovis, to accelerate vaccine and diagnostic development. |
