Posters and Abstracts
There will be a poster session in the afternoon from 3.30pm to 4.45pm.
Anyone wishing to submit a poster should email the following details to the CSCB – cscb.reception@ucd.ie by Friday November 21, 2008 at the latest for inclusion in the abstracts booklet.

Poster dimensions should be no larger than A0 (841mm x 1189mm or 33.11in x 46.81in) and should be in PORTRAIT FORMAT ONLY.

Please can you indicate the presenting author by underlining the name and indicate the corresponding author by inserting an asterisk after his/her name.
COMPETITION - Write your Research
2nd Year PhD students in the CSCB are invited to submit a short written piece (no more than 400 words) on their research topic covering (a) a brief background to their research topic (b) the particular aim of their project (c) an update on results to date and (d) a summary of future research plans for the remainder of their PhD. Pieces should be written in a way that is understandable to other scientists and diagrams may be included if you wish.
Entries will be judged and the winner announced and presented with a cash prize at the symposium.
The closing date for entry is Friday, November 28th.
