Everyone is welcome to attend the symposium, which will consist of short (20 min max) invited lectures and a plenary lecture (45 min)... followed by a beer/wine reception. There is no formal registration.

The Government Chief Scientific Adviser, Prof. Patrick Cunningham will formally launch the Dublin Chemistry Graduate Programme on Thursday the 11th of September in the Edmund Burke Lecture Theatre, Arts Building Trinity College.

- September 25 - UCD Conway Institute Festival of Research
The 8th annual UCD Conway Institute Festival of Research takes place on Thursday, September 25th. The festival combines oral presentations and poster sessions to highlight and showcase the research excellence of the Institute. Daniele Balducci, a postdoctoral researcher with Dr Francesca Paradisi, CSCB and UCD School of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, will give a talk on his research.
