  • The 7th annual UCD Conway Festival of Research will take place on Thursday, September 20, 2007. It will showcase the research within the Institute through oral and poster presentations by UCD Conway postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers and will feature keynote lectures from the following guest speakers of international repute.

    Invited speakers:

    Professor Peter Dervan, California Institute of Technology 
    "Toward Transcriptional Therapy with Programmable DNA Binding Oligomers" 

    Professor Kim Nasmyth, University  of Oxford 
    "How do cells hold sister chromatids together?"

    Professor J Steve Jones, University of London 
    "Why evolution is right and  creationism is wrong" 


    The deadline for submission of abstracts is 5pm on Friday, August 17, 2007.
