July 1-5 Euromar 2012
The EUROMAR 2012 conference which covered all
aspects of magnetic resonance, was held in University College
Dublin, on the 1st to the 5th of July, with the organising committee
being led by Dr. Chandralal Hewage.
EUROMAR is an international scientific society that has a major commitment of developing the Magnetic Resonance community in Europe.
The conference was attended by 850 delegates from 46 countries
including world-renowned scientists in the area of magnetic
resonance research, junior scientists from academia and industry,
PIs from academic and research institutions and postdoctoral
fellows and postgraduate students. In addition, representatives
from three major commercial partners, Agilent Technologies, JEOL
and BRUKER were present, along with contributions from many
other companies. As a measure of its success, 410 high quality
abstracts were submitted to the conference. The EUROMAR 2012
Dublin conference provided major opportunities for showcasing
Irish research efforts and for establishing scientific contacts and networks with fellow contacts from other parts of the world.
