Recent Advances in Synthesis and Chemical Biology II

The Centre for Synthesis and Chemical Biology (CSCB) held its second annual symposium on December 12 in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

The symposium was attended by over 200 visitors including academics, postdoctoral, and postgraduate students from TCD, University College Dublin (UCD), The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI)  and other Irish universities. 

Plenary lectures were given by Professor Alois Fürstner from the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung, Mülheim, Germany, Professor Mark Lautens from the University of Toronto, Canada, Professor Nicholas P. Farrell from the Virginia Commonwealth University, USA, Professor Peter Leadlay from the University of Cambridge, UK, Professor Anne Imberty from CERMAV-CNRS, Grenoble, France and Professor Carolyn R. Bertozzi University of California, Berkeley, USA.
