Background:
Experienced Safety and Security Manager Lecturer in Security and Risk Management in Dublin Institute of Technology, 2000-2003.  College Lecturer and Programme Coordinator at UCD, 2004-2007.

 

Present responsibilities and main research interests:
Responsible for the administrative management and development of the UCD Centre for Safety and Health at Work. Promotion and development of the Certificate in Safety and Health at Work and other Occupational Safety and Health programmes. David is also Manager of Postgraduate Studies for the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science. Research interests include violence at work, occupational stress, safety in sports management and safety and health issues affecting emergency workers.
