Registration Information

We invite you to complete your Autumn registration from 18 August 1997 - onwards. A separate form is necessary for each person. Please download either version of the enrolment application form, complete, and use one of the following methods to register for your chosen course:

Fees

Concession
The following discounts to fees are available for many courses:

50% to (i) those whose only source of income is Social Welfare payment.

        (ii) those in receipt of old age non-contributory pension.

Concessions are also available to:

(i) Staff and Alumni Association members of UCD

(ii) Registered students of any higher education institution.

Please note that discounts can only be allowed on production of appropriate documentary evidence.

Refunds

Fees which have been paid are not refunded for any reason except when a course does not proceed or is already full.

Please Note

Admission slips should be retained and produced for inspection when requested by a person authorised by the Director.
When admission slips have been issued changes in enrolment for courses will not be allowed.
A course may be withdrawn or discontinued at the discretion of the Director of Adult Education. In that event, enrolled participants will have their fees refunded.
Courses are offered on condition that enrolments reach a viable level. Courses which show little prospect of proceeding may be cancelled in advance, in which case fees will be refunded.
Whereas every effort is made to ensure accuracy regarding course information responsibility is disclaimed for any error or omission.

Entry Requirements

These courses are open to adults regardless of educational background except for those who wish to undertake the college certificate routes.

Additional Facilities

(a) The Library. Subject to a charge of ĢIR 10 Adult Education students will be admitted to the College Library for consultation and reference purposes, but only during the Autumn and Spring terms. Application should be made to the General Information Desk, Library Building. Your course Admission Slip should be produced on request. If you wish to apply for a borrower's card, for which a fee of ĢIR 70 is payable, you should enquire about availability early in the term at the Information Desk in the Library.

(b) Sports Centre. Special rates are available for membership of this facility. For a subscription of ĢIR 40 special membership is available from 22 September 1997 to 30 October 1998 (an additional charge applies for use of new weight room). Enquire at the Sports Centre Tel 706 2185. You will be requested to produce your course Admission Slip.

(c) Catering.In term the restaurant and other catering facilities at Belfield are available to you. Retain your course Admission Slip to be produced if requested.
