Second

Theory in Drama and Performance, 1;

Shakespeare on Film;

Aspects of Performance: Directing and Playwriting.

Third
Level typically includes a mix of Core and Option
courses, on topics

Post-war British Theatre.

Special author studies (Pinter; Churchill; Beckett).

Comedy / Farce.

Drama in Education and Augusto Boal.

Radio Drama.

Theatricalities.

Beckett
in Performance.

Playwriting and Directing.

Theatre, Society and Cultural Policy.

Research Project
Guest
Speakers and Theatre Practitioners are invited from time to time
to discuss their
work in
the professional theatre.
Assessment
Written
and oral examinations; course essays; class papers; continuous
assessment.
