Architecture Reunion | Starting Class of 1978

On 7 October, UCD Architecture alumni met up in Doheny and Nesbitt's to mark the 45th anniversary since their first lecture in Earlsfort Terrace in October 1978! Thank you to Angela Tunney who was at the helm of the organising committee for this reunion.

On 8 September 2023, over 50 alumni from the UCD Engineering Class of 1973 celebrated their 50th anniversary since their graduation from UCD.

Joined by around 30 spouses, the group had a fantastic evening in the Grand Hotel Malahide, preceded by a gold tournament.

A big thank you goes to class representatives Martin McCarthy, Donal Flynn, Donal O'Callaghan, Mary White, Mairtin O'Droma, Joe Staunton and Eamon Hargadon who organised this reunion to keep the Engineering Class 1973 Class connected.

We were delighted to welcome back the Architecture starting class of 2007 for a reunion in Richview on 29 September. The group gathered in the Quad for drinks and a catch-up and enjoyed a stroll through their old college buildings.

Thank you to Séamus Guidera, Harry Browne and Garrett Fullam for taking the lead on this reunion.

The 1968 Merrion Street BE electrical engineering class has communicated unwaveringly over the past 55 years and celebrated many of their milestone reunions, most recently their 55th reunion on 24 June 2023.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of graduating from UCD Engineering, the Class of 1992 held an informal reunion on Saturday, 26 November at the UCD University Club, Belfield, organised by alumni Auveen Bell, Conor Riordan and Dave Kirwan.

BE Class of 1981 Reunion

The postponed 40th Reunion of the UCD Engineering Class of 1981 took place on Saturday, 17 December at The Conrad Hotel. With Prof Mark Rogers, Acting President of UCD, and Prof Aoife Ahern, College Principal and Dean of Engineering, our alumni spent an unforgettable evening reconnecting with their classmates.
