At UCD Architecture, many of our fourth year students choose to spend one semester in one of the architecture schools around Europe, but also in Hong Kong and the US. This gives them a valuable opportunity to experience. The aim of this exhibition was first and foremost to show the work undertaken by UCD Architecture students who studied abroad during the academic year 2008-2009 and a rich variety of projects were presented.

Professor Ole Vanggaard from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen launched the exhibition with a lecture on “Chaos, Architecture and Structure”. The event was sponsored by UCD International Office and the School of Architecture, Landscape & Civil Engineering.
