Road Safety Audit Course

Who is this course for?

This course is for qualified civil engineers who want to become qualified to carry out road safety audits on the Irish road network.

This course will prepare road safety engineers to become members of a road safety audit team. From 2013 all road safety auditors carrying out audits on the Irish TERN network will need to have a certificate of competence, validated by an EU Member State, in order to carry out road safety audits on the Irish TERN network. This, in addition to the current Irish DMRB requirements (HD19/09) of 5 audits as a trainee and 5 audits as a team member, will be part of the requirements to become a team leader. This course has been approved by the Road Safety Authority and passing the exam will result in this certificate of competence qualification.
