Current projects
WINCOMS
Funded by the EPA, this project examines the use of Decision Support Systems for selecting measures for implementing the WatEr FRamework Directive in Ireland. It looks at individual decision support systems and their implementation as well as how stakeholders interact with them.
Phosphorus Modelling
Ms. Iqbal M. Salih
Funded by a TEAGASC Walsh Fellowship, this project integrates the HSPF hydrology model with the SWAT Phosphorus model within a GIS framework.
Assessment of Radar for flood warning in Ireland
Mr Fiachra O'Loughlin
Funded by UCD's Ad Astra Scholarship scheme, theis project assess the potential contribution of radar to flood warning in Ireland.
Integrated GIS and Neuro-fuzzy analysis for use in River Basin District management.
Dr. Ahmed Nasr
Funded by an EPA, postdoctoral fellowship this project develops generic tools for fuzzy modelling of a variety of phenomena in river basin
districts.
Modelling of Water Quality In Dublin Bay
Ms. Zeinab Bedri
Continuing a long line of hydrodynamic modelling research at CWRR, this project applies a 3-D model to examine water quality impacts in Dublin Bay.
