There is a strong laboratory element in the undergraduate experience. There are many opportunities to use the modern, well equipped worshops and laboratories during all undergraduate programmes.

There is also a strong IT component interspersed throughout the courses, from the use of state-of-the-art analysis and modelling software to the professional presentation and communication of concepts in reports and oral presentations.
