Biosystems & Food Engineering is the application of engineering principles to agriculture, food and renewable resources while at the same time protecting the environment. The interests of Biosystems Engineers are diverse and include food processing, agricultural production systems, renewable resources, biofuels and environmental protection. The common theme is to apply engineering/scientific principles and the School of Biosystems Engineering offers taught masters in the areas of Food Production, Environmental Technology and Sustainable Energy.
