Dr Eoin O’Neill’s research interests are wide-ranging and informed by his background in spatial planning and environmental policy, and also by his professional experience within the wider planning and environmental policy arena. His research includes exploring socio-economic issues associated with environmental and land use externalities at all spatial scales, whether micro or macro, including the relationship between human behaviour and the environment. He has also developed a strong research interest in climate change adaptation and flood risk management.
Hence, he has particular knowledge of, and interest in the following research areas: Environmental Policy; Environmental Economics; Spatial Planning; Climate Change Adaptation; Market-Based Instruments; Regional Policy; and, Flood Risk Management.
