A report on the future of Ireland's climate will be launched on September 25th in the National Botanic Gardens at 6.30pm. Ray McGrath, Head of Research in Met Éireann, will present a summary of the results compiled by the various authors (including UCD Earth Institute members: Professor Frederic Dias; Professor Peter Lynch and Dr Conor Sweeney). The report covers a range of topics such as wind and wave energy, heat extremes, ecosystems, rainfall and flooding. The evening is being held by the Irish Met Soc in association with Met Eireann and the National Botanic Gardens.
