Graduate Programmes 2012/13
UCD School of Economics is the largest Economics department in Ireland and has been at the forefront of Irish economic life for many decades. Recent times have brought a large increase in the research output of the School as measured by the scholarly publications and activities of the staff. Some members of the School also play a significant role in public policy on economic affairs and are active commentators in the media and elsewhere on economic policy.
The research activities and interests of the School range over the following fields: International Trade, Labour & Public Economics, Economic History, Macroeconomics, Applied Econometrics, Applied Game Theory and Industrial Organisation. Details of staff interests are given later in this brochure. The School recognises that quality teaching at the graduate level requires input from staff who are actively engaged in research of the highest calibre.
We hope that you will find the postgraduate courses we offer to be of interest.
