UCD School of Economics will be holding an Open Evening on Tuesday January 17th to provide information on for students, parents and teachers about the various different ways that undergraduates can study Economics at UCD. The event will take place from 5pm onwards in the Sutherland Law building in Belfield.
The schedule for the event is as follows.
17.00 - 17.30 Welcome & Registration
Registration in the atrium of UCD Sutherland School of Law.
Tea & Coffee will be served
17.00 - 17.45 Q&A with Academics
UCD Economics courses and some of their subject pairings will have stands. This is an opportunity to meet academic staff and students involved with the following subjects:

17.45 - 19.00 Economics Open Evening Talks
Professor Karl Whelan, Head of UCD School of Economics will discuss the full range of Economics courses at UCD
- Single Honours Economics
- Joint Honours Economics (BA)
- Economics & Finance (BSc)
- Law with Economics
This session will also include short talks by alumni and current students on their experiences in the subject areas.
19.00-19.30: Q & A with speakers in the atrium.
Audience: 6th & 5th years, 'A level' students, mature applicants, parents and teachers.
