UCD School of Education Associate Professor, Judith Harford, Hosts Symposium Marking 50 Years Since the  'Free Education Scheme'

Associate Professor, Judith Harford, of the UCD School of Education hosted a symposium marking fifty years since the introduction of the 'free education scheme' in the Royal Irish Academy on 19 April. Speakers included: Professor John Coolahan, Professor Ciaran Sugure, Professor Aine Hyland, Professor Emer Smyth, Professor Kathleen Lynch, Professor Tom O' Donoghue, Professor D.G. Mulcahy, and Tom Boland, former CEO of the Higher Education Authority. The symposium is being sponsored by the Department of Education and Skills.
