Recent Graduates from UCD School of Education Publish Masters Research in Journal Educational and Child Psychology

Congratulations to Saima Habib and Kate Rabbitte, recent masters’ graduates from the School of Education, who will both have their masters research published in a special edition of the British Psychological Society’s journal Educational and Child Psychology in June which will address the topic of Autism.

Saima’s research explored the experiences of Pakistani mothers parenting their child with autism in Ireland. This research was also completed with Professor Asma Abdussabur whois Professor of Urdu Literature at the University of Education, Lahore, Pakistan. Kate’s research explored the experiences of parents who completed a diagnostic assessment for Autism for their daughters. Kate has recently commenced work as an educational psychologist in a Primary Care service in North Louth.
