UCD Maths & Science Education Students Begin Co-Teaching Project with Local Primary School
Undergraduate maths & science education students have begun a module-long partnership with a St. Mary's National School. This project will see 4th and 5th class students visit UCD’s Outreach Lab to carry out a scientific investigation of their own design. UCD undergraduate science education students will work with the primary students and their teachers to carry out this work. This initiative relies on a co-teaching model where students and staff from UCD will work with teachers at St. Mary's National before, during, and after the visit to UCD.
The undergraduate students are in their second year of the maths & science education stream of UCD's Science course (DN200).
