Winner of anthology project for ENG20450 Renaissance Literature
'The Tudors’ – Kathy Conroy, Alison Hynes, Sophie Menton, Cathy Murphy and Peter Weinberg – were awarded the top prize for their excellent anthology of Renaissance verse, which was produced as part of their assessment for the Level 2 module, ENG20450 Renaissance Literature: Writing and Performance in the Age of Shakespeare. Chocolates and a copy of Verse in Tudor and Stuart Ireland (2003) were presented to the winning group by Professor Andrew Carpenter, who commented on the high standard of the work produced. ‘We Love X-Factor’ – Daryl Barrett, Dean A. Kavanagh, Kevin O Mahony, Michael Suen, and Rebecca Whelan – came a close second.
