The second UCD Finnegans Wake Workshop will take place on Saturday, 13 November 2010, 11.00-17.00, in J208, John Henry Newman Building, UCD. We will be reading the “The Ondt and the Gracehoper” section of Book III, chapter 1 (FW 414.14-19.10). Together with Professor Anne Fogarty (UCD), Dr Luca Crispi (UCD) and Dr Sam Slote (Trinity College Dublin), the guest moderators for this session will be Professor Vicki Mahaffey (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) and Professor Derek Attridge (University of York); Paul O’Hanrahan (Balloonatics Theatre Company) will be the guest reader. Please bring a copy of Finnegans Wake with you and read Book, Three, Chapter 1 in advance (especially the “The Ondt and the Gracehoper” section).
