UCD School of English, Drama and Film is a friendly, energetic, and creative School. Students and staff are collectively engaged in the interrogation and negotiation of texts, ideas, and cultures. We welcome students who enjoy literature, drama and film and who value and appreciate their role in shaping society. We offer finely crafted curricula which consider literature and culture from earliest times to the contemporary. Our students have the opportunity to tailor their programme to their own interests and fulfil their highest potential as creative and critical individuals: people who are skilled communicators, critically articulate, and actively engaged in society.
