Undergraduate Programmes

Why study with us? We are a diverse School with an international reputation across a wide range of disciplines and fields. We are committed to creating a supportive learning environment for our undergraduate and graduate students. While the lecture remains an integral part of our larger modules, the seminar, workshop, and small group work are at the core of our undergraduate teaching. In these supportive learning environments we will assess the origin, source, impact, significance and making of literary, dramatic and film artefacts. We explore the influence of theoretical and important cultural perspectives and approaches, around areas including gender, ecology, race, and memory on the production and reception of literature, drama and film. We strive to inspire a life-long love of learning and to leave with the with the confidence to question, debate, articulate, and critique their own and others’ ideas and values.
