Each year there are many fellowship opportunities, mostly postdoctoral positions, for individuals. Submissions must be done in conjunction with a host institution / academic member of staff.
UCD College of Engineering, Mathematical and Physical Sciences invites expressions of interest from prospective fellowships candidates / applicants across the College’s 5 Research Themes of Critical Infrastructures, Energy Systems, Nanobio Science & Engineering, Computational Modelling and Bioengineering.

UCD is currently ranked 89 in global rankings. It had research funding of €116M awarded in 2008/09 and is a national leader in Fourth Level Education with 31% of all PhD students in Ireland. Members of the university had over 1,900 peer-reviewed journal publications in 2008. The University offers an excellent research environment and comprehensive training programme for Researchers.
