| Description: | UCD Engineering will host an Open Evening on Wednesday, 16 October 2008, in the UCD Engineering and Materials Sciences Centre, Belfield. This event is open to Fifth and Sixth Year students and their parents and teachers, who are invited to come along to meet with our academic staff. Tours of our laboratories will be given, where visitors can find out about the wonderful research being conducted in UCD by the academic staff who are also involved in engineering education in UCD. Talks will be given on the various disciplines of Engineering offered in UCD, as well as the fascinating – but not always obvious career paths that Engineering can lead to! |
