Module Registration for Graduate Taught Students

Module Registration for Graduate Research Students

In accordance with the regulations for the Structured PhD programme and research masters programme research students may take academic or transferable skills modules.

The aim of taught modules is to facilitate research as well as to provide you with important transferable skills enhancing career development. Your School may recommend or require specific modules, beyond this it is for you and your Principal Supervisor to decide which modules are most appropriate to your research.

There is no lower limit on the number of taught modules, although there are some restrictions as to the number of modules you may take at a particular level and there is an upper limit on the total number of taught modules, these restrictions are stipulated in the regulations.
