The Belfield campus of University College Dublin (UCD) is located about 4 km south of Dublin city centre. Maps and details of how to get to the campus are available online at www.ucd.ie/visitors.htm. No accommodation is available on campus as the colloquium is taking place during term time. You will therefore need to make your own arrangements. If you would prefer to stay relatively close to the campus, suburbs include Donnybrook, Booterstown, Clonskeagh, Ranelagh, Rathmines, Stillorgan and Goatstown. It would also be possible to stay in the City Centre (e.g. in Temple Bar or near St Stephen's Green (postcode D2)). If travelling from the south side of the city centre, allow about half an hour to get to the campus by bus. Some examples of accommodation are listed below. Prices are approximate and are generally based on one person in a single room, as quoted from www.ireland.ie or http://www.irishtourism.com. You may get cheaper quotes by dealing direct with the hotels. The list is by no means exhaustive - the above websites (among others) include a wide range of alternatives. Hotels and guest houses within ~20 minutes' walk of UCD
