(Designated) Support Colleagues
What are Support Colleagues?
Support Colleagues are staff members of the University who have been appointed by the Vice-President for Staff on a voluntary basis.
They are trained as the first point of contact for staff experiencing difficulties of a bullying or harassment nature.
It is an informal service, where they provide information and support on the informal and formal processes under UCD's Dignity and Respect Policy, on a strictly confidential basis.
They do not become involved in disciplinary or grievance procedures.
