INNOVATION DUBLIN 2011: Design and the Humanities -What it is to be human: archaeological perspectives on human creativity
Professor Michael Shanks, visiting professor in digital humanities at UCD Humanities Institute, will deliver two workshops entitled: 'Collaborative innovation networks: how to be interdisciplinary' and 'What it is to be human: archaeological perspectives on human creativity'. Michael Shanks is Director of Stanford University's Humanities Lab and CARS (Center for Automotive Research at Stanford). He also the Omar and Althea Hoskins Professor of Classical Archaeology at Stanford. Note this event will take place in The Humanities Institute on the Belfield campus.
