Greenhouse Gases & Animal Agriculture
On behalf of the Local Organising Committee of GGAA2013, we wish to invite and welcome you to GGAA 2013 hosted at University College Dublin from June 23rd to June 27th 2013. The conference is being organised by Teagasc (the Irish Agriculture and Food Development Authority) and University College Dublin. Both our organisations have been very involved in researching animal greenhouse gas issues in Ireland. Following the very successful conference in Banff in 2010, we aim to build on this success and continue to position the GGAA at the world’s premier event for scientists to meet and discuss issues concerning animal greenhouse gas. We are really looking forward to hosting this major conference and making it a memorable experience for delegates.
This scientific meeting will attract speakers and delegates from throughout the globe and builds on previous successful meetings in the series. The meeting will focus on advancements in the areas of animal derived GHG mitigation since the last meeting in Banff, 2010. Efforts are underway to maximise participation by delegates from developing countries.
This meeting also presents an ideal opportunity to visit and explore Ireland where Agriculture is our largest indigenous industry, and plays a major role in the lives of many of our citizens. Dublin is an exciting city with a great blend of history, culture and a modern, vibrant atmosphere, with a friendly and welcoming feel. The conference venue, University College Dublin, is located in the leafy suburbs of Dublin, and has a modern campus that is still full of character.
We look forward to seeing you all in Dublin in 2013.
|Venue :||O'Reilly Hall, UCD|
