Marie Curie Funded ESIE Project
In 2006, the UCD Egalitarian World Initiative (EWI) succeeded in winning a four-year Marie Curie Transfer of Knowledge Programme award to develop the intellectual infrastructure for a more Egalitarian and Socially Inclusive Europe (ESIE). The aim of the ESIE project is to build on the intellectual and organisational infrastructure offered by the EWI to enhance UCD's institutional capacity in egalitarian theory, practice and equality-sensitive research methodologies, and policy practices. The research clusters are a major focus of the Marie Curie Transfer of Knowledge (ToK) programme and will be at the heart of the four-year Egalitarian and Socially Inclusive Europe (ESIE) work programme. more>
