Next-Generation Sequencing for Food Pathogen Traceability

24 March, 2014

The UCD Institute of Food and Health has initiated a series of high level workshops aimed at contributing to policy development and identifying research needs in key areas relating to food and health. In this latest workshop, co-hosted with the UCD Centre for Food Safety and the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, leading international experts will describe the policies that have led to the implementation of a next-generation sequencing network for food pathogen traceability and share their experience from challenges arising from implementing the next-generation sequencing technology to real-time outbreak investigations.

More details of the programme are available to download here.
