Biography:
Research Interests
| My research interests revolve around metabolism and altered metabolic pathways in health and disease. We currently employ nutrigenomic techniques (metabolomics, proteomics and transcriptomics) to further our understanding of the relationship between nutrition and health. Of particular interest to our research group is the development of metabolomics for nutritional research. Areas currently under development include the use of a metabolomic approach to identify novel biomarkers of dietary intake and the use of metabolomic signatures (¿metabotypes¿) to identify people who respond to certain dietary interventions.
