Mapping the State: Design as a Tool for Organisational Change

Ciarán Ó Gaora of Zero-G presented an overview of Mapping the State, an evolving project that visualises the full scale and complexity of the Irish state. The map outlines the legislative, judicial, executive and local governmental structures of the state, making use of data developed by researchers in the UCD Geary Institute in the Irish State Administration Database project (www.isad.ie) led by Professor Niamh Hardiman.
